The posters and papers which are not in the prescribed format are rejected
A poster should include operative or clinical photographs, and it should not consist only sentences.

Acceptance of Final presentations ( Both Papers and Posters) in the prescribed format shall begin from 1st September through the website. However all participants are advised to carry a backup copy on pendrive and bring it at the time of presentation.

General Rules

  • After successful submission, abstract submission ID will be sent via an email.
  • Only those papers received with full specifications alone will be considered.
  • Once the selection process is completed, the presenters of all the accepted papers will be intimated about which category the paper is assigned, its format, rules and regulations, session, and time slot of their presentation.
  • Rule of Two: Each presenting author may submit a maximum of two abstracts (includes Poster/Paper). Should an author have more than two abstracts for submission, a co-author must be named as presenting author for one or more abstracts.

General Instructions

  • Last Date: The last date for receipt of abstract is 07th September 2024.
  • Papers without plagiarism certificate issued by concerned HOD will not be accepted.
  • How to generate Plagiarism Certificate:
    Option 1 - Your Department or College will have a software to screen thesis topics. You can use it and get certified by your HOD.
    Option 2 - If your HOD permits, you can get any plagiarism software and get it certified.
  • The presenting author should be a member of ASI.
  • The scientific committee reserves the right to select the best 5 papers for Dr. Lakshman Prasad Best PG Award Paper and Dr. Vyaghreswarudu Best Paper Award. Those not selected will be converted to free papers.
  • Proof of registration of the presenter in APASICON 2024 is a must for accepting any paper.
  • There should be a covering letter with a declaration by the presenter that the work is carried out by him/her and team if any, and has not been presented or published by him/her earlier.
  • The covering letter should have a mention of the category to which the presenter wishes the paper to be included. This should also contain the ASI membership number of the presenter.
  • The abstract of the Paper/Poster, covering letter with declaration, proof of registration, and proof of age for competitive categories must be submitted in the website.
  • Ethics committee approval is mandatory at the time of presentation during Conference.
  • If your abstract is rejected, you can resubmit it. Please resubmit your abstract as soon as possible. For assistance with resubmission, contact Ms. Bharathi at 7981354007.
  • If you have not received your ASI membership number, please share your ASI membership payment receipt along with your abstract files to Dr. Dheeraj at +91 9573854789.
  • Pliagarism certificate is must.
  • If any paper or poster is rejected please re-upload with Pliagarism certificate from your HOD.

Guidelines for Free Paper Presentations

  • All the presentations should be in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • The first slide of the presentation should be the title slide. The title slide should contain only the title, name of the presenter and membership number. Institution name or guide name should not be mentioned either in the title slide or anywhere else in the presentation.
  • The duration of the presentation is 7 minutes + 3 minutes viva.
  • The presenter is expected to present the paper in the time slot provided to them.
  • The presenter should definitely undergo speaker training 2 – 3 days before the conference, details of which will be shared in the First week of September.
  • The timing of the talk also will be communicated in the first week of September..
  • The above guidelines are to be followed strictly. Any discrepancies shall lead to automatic disqualification.
